Every card carries its story, and anyone can check it.
The moment a card comes out of a pack on RipRoom, it gets a Pull Record: where it was ripped, by whom, the moment on stream, and a fingerprint of its photo. Every step after that is added to the same record.
A chain of custody, not a sticker.
- The rip. The break, the creator, the slot, the stream time, and a fingerprint of the original photo.
- How it was identified. Logged by hand, or scanned by AI and confirmed by the creator.
- Every handoff. Shipping requested, shipped (carrier plus the last 4 digits of the tracking number), sent to grader, graded with the cert number, delivered.
- Linked and signed. Each step contains a fingerprint of the step before it and is signed by RipRoom, so history can't be quietly edited, removed or reordered.
Checked in your browser
The verify page recomputes every fingerprint and signature itself, and re-checks the photo, without taking our word for it.
On the sleeve
Each record has a short code and QR. Put it on the sleeve, the slab submission or the listing.
Private by design
No emails or addresses, ever. Buyers appear by first name and last initial; tracking numbers are reduced to the last 4 digits plus a fingerprint.
Not an NFT
No tokens, no crypto, nothing to trade but the card itself. The record is a certificate that follows the physical card.
Honest about where history starts
✓ Verified rip
Pulled on RipRoom, on camera. The record starts in the pack, the strongest provenance a card can have.
Owner-registered Soon
Cards scanned in from an existing collection. The record starts at the scan, and is clearly labelled so it's never confused with a verified rip. It gains trust from a grading cert or a sale through RipRoom.
